We recommend two half-day sessions, spaced about a week apart. For earlier-stage startups, a single half-day session may be sufficient. We'll determine the best approach during the workshop preparation.

Prior to the first session, participants should review relevant strategies and policies, including vision or mission statements, organizational charts, strategy documents, and engineering and product architectures. Information about competitors is also beneficial.

Typically, the workshop should include the overall executive leader and the most senior product and engineering staff. In a small startup, this is usually the CEO, CPO, and CTO. In larger organizations, participants might include the VP of Engineering, VP of Product, and Head of Strategy, or their equivalents.
